If I’ve learned anything as a photographer, it’s that the light performs the magic.
Shaping the light its brightness, color, contrast, direction, the symbolic use of light and shadow, the real magician here is light itself.
I’ve always had an affinity for behemoth wise elders of Hollywood’s beginnings, the really good ones are getting harder to find, but that just makes me try harder.
In the sprit of the modern resurgence of “small batch” brands and Industrial Artifacts reclamation movement I have embarked on my own personal project of passion to pay homage to these legendary pieces of hardware. Bringing these light fixtures out of the past and into the present. These vintage lights extrude an unparalleled sense of aesthetics quality of illumination and rich in history.
My job now is to curate, convert these units to modern home electrics, to carefully refurbished and restored for the true connoisseur, in limited quantities, with fine attention to detail.
